We had a fun visit exploring the city and made great memories on a classic saloon boat tour. The location is super convenient, making it easy to stroll around. Plus, it was perfect that we could bring our 3 dogs along!...

Great location made exploring easy.
The room was smaller than expected, and the thin walls meant I could hear noisy neighbors all night. It was quite uncomfortable, especially with all the disturbances. I also found the shower pressure to be quite weak, making it an unpleasant experience overall.

Good location but room cleanliness needs improvement
The only plus during my stay was the convenient location, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. the room left much to be desired as it was dirty and filled with insects, and I could really hear everything happening in the hallways, which made it difficult to relax and unwind.

The first night at the Aston was exhausting but okay. We crashed right after checking in. The next morning, though, things took a turn. I noticed a missing chunk from a chocolate bar we’d left on the desk. At first, I thought maybe we just ripped it, but tiny pieces of the wrapper scattered around suggested otherwise. I got uneasy vibes about a mouse being in the room. When it rattled around at 3 AM on our last night, I couldn't sleep at all, terrified it would scurry into bed with us! We checked under the bed but found nothing, just a hole we thought might be where it got in. Sketchy, right? The bathroom had a strong stench, like ammonia—it took away any comfort I might have felt. The walls felt paper-thin, too. I heard every door shut and people chatting in the hallway. Trying to catch some z’s was nearly impossible. The staff were nice enough, but honestly, I needed better room conditions. The only upside was location. Close to tram stops and must-see spots, but the rest? A real discomfort!
